Archaeology Camp- Dates: June 14th- June 17th & July 12th – July 15th The Archaeology Day Camp is an interactive course designed to teach children the purpose, methodology, and value of studying ancient cultures and heritage through the interpretation of material culture or artifacts. The El Paso Museum of Archaeology’s camp focuses on respecting and appreciating the prehistory of the El Paso-Juárez region, especially its people and diverse cultures. Hands-on activities include conducting a survey, mock excavation, field trip to Hueco Tanks State Park and Atl-Atl throwing. This camp is suitable for children ages 8-13. Cost: $70.00 for non-members $55.00 for members. Dates: Tuesday through Friday 9:00 am to 12:00pm


Archery Camp
- Dates: June 21st- June 24th & June 28th – July 1st Our Archery Day Camp will provide camp-goers a first-hand experience, led by professionals, into the sport of archery. This four day activity based camp will educate campers on the history and safety of archery. The week begins with an exhibition of different types of bows and arrows as well as a brief history lesson and safety lecture. The second day, campers get to jump right into the action while being taught to properly shoot a bow and arrow and Atl-Atl. On day three, campers will have a friendly team competition to show off their new skills! This camp ends with a field trip to Hueco Tanks on June 24th or the Tigua Cultural Center July 1st. This camp is suitable for participants ages 7 and up. Cost: $70.00 for non-members $55.00 for members. Dates: Tuesday through Friday 9:00 am to 12:00pm

World Archaeology Camp- Dates: July 5th - July 8th & July 19th – July 22nd. The World Archaeology Camp focuses on artistic and scientific experiments from different archaeological time periods from around the world. There will be numerous, engaging projects throughout the four-day camp that will reflect the science, technology, culture, and history of some of the world’s most influential ancient civilizations. Campers will acquire knowledge of the contributions made by Greeks, Romans, Egyptians, and Native Americans from the Southwest region. Both camp sessions will end with a field trip to the El Paso Museum of Art. This camp is suitable for children 8 -13. Cost: $70.00 for non-members $55.00 for members. Dates: Tuesday through Friday 9:00 am to 12:00pm


Please note: Parents are required to accompany their camper on the Friday Field Trip Day for each camp.
