Mission StatementThe El Paso Museum of Archaeology is dedicated to the narration, interpretation and preservation of archaeological and anthropological artifacts through research, exhibits, education, and special programs, with a focus on the prehistory and culture of the El Paso area and the Southwest.
We offer free tours Tuesday through Saturday. Two weeks advance reservation is required. School, youth and adult groups are welcome. Tours of the galleries and the main trail are available.

We are located at the base of the Franklin Mountains, on Transmountain Road. Use Exit 29 on Highway 54 and proceed west on Woodrow Bean Transmountain Road/Loop 375 about one-quarter mile to the museum, located on the north side of Transmountain next to the Border Patrol Museum.
